The history of our working relationship started in early 2000 when Creatside did our first project with Harrods and we have never looked back.

To this end, we are now the principle contractor on their site managing the full high voltage maintenance preventative maintenance programme.

This business relationship that spans over 2 decades is only getting stronger as we constantly achieve beyond expectations for the Harrods management team and we believe our family values and commitment over the past years has only strengthened this relationship.

INFRARED WINDOW INSTALLATION

(June 2020)

The 6 main LV ATS switchboards within our client’s premises were installed during the early 90s and had surpassed the recommended manufacturers lifetime expectancy.

Our client has future-plans to replace these assets after other implementation works have been completed.

To maintain compliance our client’s goal was to increase maintenance, without increasing downtime to their business.

Creatside Ltd surveyed the works and provided a solution of intrusive thermographic maintenance. This involved installing 210 infrared windows on the 6 switchboards.

Our highly skilled team were able to plan all 6 shutdowns, aid the clients LV AP’s, provide temporary lighting & power, and complete the works at a rate of 18 windows per hour.

Regular thermographic surveys can now take place without the need to isolate systems.

Wiring alterations to associated HV protection controls

Programming new discrimination protection settings

Primary injection testing to determine CT ratios

11kV & 6.6kV TRANSFORMER OVERHAUL PROJECT

(Merit Holdings Ltd: March 2015 – August 2017)

A

2-year project replacing 10no 6.6kV-415V and 4no 11kV-6.6kV transformers.

A

Survey and decommissioning of all redundant cables, containment, and transformers.

A

New containment systems designed and installed throughout the project, including third-party containment systems (i.e. pipe work, fire alarm systems, data).

A

New 11kV cables installed, including terminations, jointing and DC pressure testing.

A

Liaising with DNO, installing all requirements for new 11kV DNO SUB.

A

Installation of earthing systems for SUB requirements, including main earth tape.

A

Installation of all protection cabling and terminations.

A

New 1kV rated, 630mm 1c AWA cables installed and terminated to supply all LV switchboards.

A

Full commissioning of transformers.

A

Installation of new small lighting and power, AC supplies, fire suppression supplies (MICC cable). Including full NIC inspecting, testing and certification.
