Jackie and Gary made the decision to retire in December 2023. This retirement has given Sheri Irons and Mark Fotherby a chance to develop Creatside further and take it into it’s next 50 years.
Sheri is appointed as the CEO of the business and is a trained and qualified Human Resources Business Partner with a strong construction health and safety background – these skills are very much about legislative compliance and about managing people. Taking care of everyone who works with and for Creatside is of paramount importance to both Sheri and Mark Fotherby, co-owner and Managing Director of Creatside.
Mark has many years of experience in the electrical industry, most of which stems from high voltage electrical engineering, having served his time building transformers at Winders Electrical in the 1980’s.
Sheri and Mark own a high voltage electrical company called Independent Substation Services Ltd, (INDSS) which is now a sister company to Creatside Ltd. With the two companies operating as their own business, Sheri and Mark want to change only what needs to change – this acquisition is not about reinventing the wheel, just making it a bit smoother!
Now with INDSS and Creatside under the same management, it gives customers a wider choice for services, now between the two firms we can offer all our customers a full package from inception and cable install, to final wiring and NICEIC testing and all the good stuff in between!
We are very excited to take over the management of Creatside. All this change during the year that Creatside will celebrate 50 years in business. It will be challenging, but we are determined and believe that with the right amount of care and attention to our staff and commitment to our customers, anything is possible. Dream big and do bigger.
